Best Club Person of the Year
Vale Charlie Abrehart
It is with sadness that we hear of the passing of Charles Abrehart.
Charles with wife June and kids Stephen & Curly moved to Nar Nar Goon in 1965 and ran the local milkbar till 1968. Charlie then began work at the Pakenham Shire.
Charlie was born at the family house in Snell's Rd in 1930.
Charles quickly became involved in the community. In 1967 he joined the Nar Nar Goon Football Club committee, then soon became Secretary (1968-72) and President (1974-75).
Charlie was also a scout leader at Nar Nar Goon.
Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

Look out for flyers inside our football clubrooms promoting road safety.
If we could ask all our NNG community to do this 2023 Road Safety short survey for the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) that would be wonderful.
Not only do our efforts count toward our Club Rewards application, but there are also 5 x $1,000 Sherrin vouchers up for grabs. This survey is completely confidential and shall help the TAC understand more about perceptions, behaviour, and challenges across Victoria. Access survey by clicking TAC Survey button here. |
